The New Wedding Season is underway and I managed to split myself into two on Sunday (24th Sept) attending both the Aztec Hotel & Spa Showcase as one of their preferred suppliers and Thornbury Castle Wedding Fayre. Luckily for me and my wheels they are not too far apart and they were both hosted at slightly different times.

I set up a small stand at the Aztec ready for a 10am opening and shot off to set up at Thornbury Castle for an 11 am opening. I stayed for the opening at the latter and aimed to be back at the Aztec for around 11.30am, but it was so busy at the Castle that I didn’t leave until almost 12noon, so I just managed to get the last hour in at the Aztec, and then break-down time. It was quiet in that last hour at the Aztec but sveral business cards were taken in my absence so I’m hoping some Brides and Grooms will make contact. I did speak to a lovely man, at the end, who was very interested in the way the wedding industry works even though he was not a groom-to-be. Talking is always good, one never knows who he knows!

I packed up and headed back to Thornbury Castle for the last hour, a little less busy but still some interested parties to talk with, especially the couple who came right on the last minute, who were so-o-o lovely. It took a while to pack away, but at the end of the day I suddenly realised how tired I really was. But, d’you know what?

I absolutely love that feeling and it reminds me of just how much I love doing what I do.
